While a love of cats is hardwired into the hooman soul, sometimes we need a little reminding why we are so fond of our feline friends. And so we enlisted the support of their pawrents to remind you why we all love cats so much.

It is funny, it's kinda like chocolate. Everyone loves some plain chocolate. It is sweet, comforting and decadent. But after enough time you look at that piece of chocolate and say hey, this is kinda boring. I want some sprinkles on this to make it exciting again. Well, that is essentially what we have done here, but with cats. Sure, we all love looking at cats, cute cats, clawminal cats, sleeping cats, they all get our motor purring.

But sometimes we need to be reminded of why we love these cats, so that our cat connection does not run stale.   • There are so many reasons to love cats, but for those of us who pawticularly enjoy their weirder moments this one is a pretty great reason. When they are off on their mental missions to planets far far away it truly fills our hearts with joy. It is kind of like this kick that pupper pawrents get when their doggo is sleeping and starts twitching or running. Except our cats are not dreaming, they are interstellar travellers who use their meowgical powers to access worlds far away from our own. This cat might as well be on Kepler B22 right now.

  • Cats are quite the satirical creatures, as exemplified by this cute cat habit. This cat is most certainly not homeless, and yet it is acting as though it is homeless and that it has been homeless for the whole of its life. Living destitute and forced to seek shelter in the safety and security of stolen shopping bags. A life filled with empty bags and empty dreams. But hey, if it makes them happy, who are we to ruin their fantasy? It certainly helps legitimize their calls for food when they pretend that they are the hungriest creatures on the planet.
